Jyothy Institute of Technology was established in the year of 2011 under the leadership of Karnataka Rajyothsava Awardee, Dr.B.N.V Surahmanya, and a visionary par excellence. Since inception JIT has grown to be one of the reputed technical Institutionn in Bangalore. JIT is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi. Located in Thataguni, (12°50′38.21″N 77°30′42.43″E) off Kanakapur road (NH 948(Previously 209)), near Art of Living. Jyothy institute of Technology is built on a 12 acre campus and has the entire infrastructure expected in a modern engineering college. JIT is on the path of progress through addition of new infrastructure and adoption of ISO practices. The construction of a new sports complex is on its half way of progress to groom sports talents.
